Lambda Chi Rho is a local sorority at Kean that prides itself on its’ diversity, dedication to service and strong sense of sisterhood. Founded in 1962, when Kean was still Newark State Teachers College, we have been going strong ever since. We are proud to be a unique group of women made up of all different backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and majors that come together to grow through activities and experiences together. Academics are also important to us, and many of us have won awards and earned Dean’s List for our high grades. As a sisterhood, we try to hold true to our sorority slogan that, “Leadership Creates Responsibility”.
